This topic has been breached a few times in passing so I've decided that I would share the required protocol for purchasing iPad apps with everyone.
All iPad apps are managed and distributed through the district's content management system. In order to purchase an app, the following needs to occur:
1. Put in a requisition with Kelly Grant using her designated method. List the full application name, the cost of the app, the number needed and the names of the students/asset tags of the devices that you want the app to be distributed to. Fill out all appropriate information (e.g. the account you want the money to come from, etc.).
2. Submit the requisition by sharing it with Kelly. To do this click the "Share" button in the upper right of the screen. In the share box, type her email address "email@example.com".
3. Share the requisition with Jason Gilpatrick so that he is aware of the order and can receive the PO once it is added.
4. A ticket will be created and you will be notified when the app is pushed out to the listed students.
